- Position the gateway – The gateway connects the system to the cloud and handles the data transfer. It is the only device that requires a power connection. It is important that the LTE signal can leave the hall unobstructed to ensure a stable connection. As soon as the gateway has connected, the signal light turns green.
- Installing anchors – The anchors, which serve as reference points for localization, are attached to the hall walls, for example, at a height of about 3 meters. The recommended distance between anchors is 10 to 15 meters to ensure optimal coverage. The anchors can be mounted using screws, double-sided tape, industrial adhesive, cable ties or magnets (if the surface is metallic). The position of each anchor is then placed on the map of your working environment using the Network Tool with a simple drag and drop. No cabling or complex calibration is necessary.
- Attaching TRIBRID® tags – The small, battery-powered tags are attached directly to the equipment to be tracked. Depending on the surface, they can either be attached using adhesive, cable ties, magnets or screws.
Once all components are in place, the system can be put into operation.
